The Superintendency of Surveillance and Private Securitys 2011-2014 Strategic Plan will be executed taking into account the following strategic objectives:
1. Increased organizational productivity.
2. Investments in the organizational environment.
3. Organizational redesign that results in functional improvements of the entity.
4. Positioning of the Superintendency as a point of technical reference at the national and international levels.
5. The definition and adoption of policies, plans, programs, and projects that fulfill institutional mission and objectives.
6. Control of legal risk with respect to lawsuits brought against the State.
7. Detailed definition of the rules of the game in cooperation with entities under surveillance.
8. Reinforcement of the Superintendencys regulatory duties.
9. The development and updating of tools and provisions required by the sector for its management development.
10. Strengthening of inter-institutional coordination between the public and private sectors in order to contributing to the coexistence and security policy.
11. Promotion of the quality data consolidation.
12. Promotion of the use of state-of-the-art technology.
13. Optimization of processes and procedures, adopting and adapting recommendations and best practices for CIT management.
