On May 20th, Mr Carlos Alfonso Mayorga Prieto took possession as Superintendent of Surveillance and Private Security.
Ceremony was presided by Deputy Minister for Corporate Social Group for Defense, General (RA) Jose Javier Perez Mejia on the Ministry of National Defense facilities.
During the possession, the Deputy Minister remarked the challenges that face the Superintendent with the Sector Law project. As it is, assured that the Entity counts with a human team with skills to support management.
The new Superintendent, Native from Boyaca, aged 45, is Masters in National Security and Defense, specializing in Constitutional Law and Parliamentary External University of Colombia and Master in Political actions and Citizen Participation of the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid Spain and expert management of NGOs at the Universidad Complutense Madrid.
Professionally, Mayorga Prieto served in Government entities as FINDETER, the Caja Agraria, Mortgage central bank, ECOSALUD, Social Liability Fund National Railways. Performed teaching in the Pedagogical and Technological universities in Colombia, Boyaca and Antonio Nariño.
